Shipping Rates

We offer a simple, tiered rate system based on the subtotal of your order, when shipping UPS Ground.  Some items may incur additional shipping charges due to size, weight and additional packaging required to safely ship the product.

UPS Transit Times

Below is a general representation of UPS outbound transit times from Wurth Machinery.

Understanding Transit Days:

• Transit days reflect business days only and exclude weekends.
• For example, if a product is shipped on a Friday with a 2-day transit time, the package will arrive on Tuesday.

*Please note this shipping rate chart is for UPS Ground. You can find the 2nd Day Air, Overnight, LTL and Machinery shipments are calculated differently. 

Note: This map provides estimated transit times and may vary slightly. Actual delivery times are subject to change based on UPS schedules.

Shipping Notifications

Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email notification with shipping details, including the carrier and tracking number if available.

Orders Ship Complete

At Wurth Machinery, we strive to offer you the best prices by shipping all orders complete. This means that if any item in your order is backordered, we will wait to receive that item before shipping the entire order. By consolidating shipments, we reduce costs and pass those savings on to you. However, if you need an item urgently, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate expedited shipping requests.

Additional Handling Fees

Certain products may require additional handling due to their material, size, or weight. These products will have an Additional Handling Fees section noted in their description, and the associated costs will be automatically added to your cart’s freight charges. You will be able to review these costs before finalizing your purchase.

Expedited Shipping

If you require Next Day Air or Second Day Air shipping, some items may be labeled as LTL or require additional freight charges due to their size, weight, or hazardous nature. In such cases, our Customer Service team will contact you with the exact shipping costs before processing your order.

• Please note that we cannot provide quotes for all Next Day Air or Second Day Air shipments directly on the website due to product variations.
• To ensure timely delivery, Next Day Air and Second Day Air orders must be placed before 3:00 p.m. CST. Orders placed after this time will be processed the following business day.
• Unless Saturday delivery is specifically requested, these expedited shipments follow the standard business day rules. For example, a Next Day Air order placed on a Friday will be delivered on the next business day (Monday).

Alaska and Hawaii Shipments

For orders shipped to Alaska or Hawaii, additional freight charges apply. Please indicate in the order comments if you accept these additional charges or contact our Customer Service team at (800) 422-4389 for more information.

Free Pick Up In Store

During checkout, you also have the option to pick up your order at one of our stores/will call or branches. The complete list of locations can be found in our branch locator.

Less Than Truckload

At Wurth Machinery, we believe that success is best when it's shared. That's why we strive to be more than just a supplier – we aim to be your strategic partner, supporting you every step of the way with unmatched service and expertise.

Some items in your order may be classified as “long,” “bulk,” or “hazardous materials,” which cannot be shipped via standard UPS. These items will be marked with “special shipping requirements” in the product description and will ship via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight.

If at least one item in your order requires LTL freight, the entire order will ship through an LTL freight line with a single freight fee.

• Commercial addresses: $110 flat rate
• Residential addresses: $125 flat rate

Additionally, any orders over 300 lbs will automatically be switched to LTL shipping, and the same commercial and residential rates will apply.

Machinery Delivery Instructions

Upon delivery of your machinery, it is crucial to carefully inspect the packaging and contents immediately after offloading from the truck. Please follow these steps to ensure a smooth delivery process:

Inspect Thoroughly Before Signing

• Check the top, bottom, and sides of all packages.
• Open cartons if needed to verify contents.
• Count all items and inspect them for visible damage.

Note Any Damage Before Signing the Bill of Lading

• The driver is required to wait while you inspect the delivery.
• If any damage or irregularity is found, note this clearly on the Bill of Lading, even if the equipment appears undamaged.
• Failure to note damage on the Bill of Lading releases Wurth Louis and Company from responsibility for repair costs.

Take Immediate Action if Damage is Found

• Take photographs of any damaged equipment and packaging.
• Keep all crating and packing materials until further instruction from Wurth Louis and Company.
• Notify Wurth Louis and Company and the trucking company within 24 hours if concealed damage or missing components are discovered after delivery.

• Additional instructions will be provided to help resolve the issue.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in damages or losses not covered by Wurth Louis and Company.

Important: A forklift must be available at the time of delivery unless otherwise specified.
