Cantek PS37DA 36" Two Head Wide Belt Sander

The Cantek Professional Series (PS) Wide-Belt Sanders were engineered and designed to have a durable design with an emphasis on user friendly operation. Sanding heads are accurately easily adjusted for various sanding grits.  The digital thickness control allows for precise adjustment of the conveyor belt to 0.001” resolution.  Special emphasis has been made for safe operation of this machine with emergency devices on the infeed, outfeed, conveyor table, and access doors.

USER FRIENDLY CONTROLS

Digital Thickness Control:  Motorized thickness adjustment with digital control for precise table adjustment.  Resolution to 0.001” and 0.01mm. Dual inch / metric display.

Ammeters: Individual ammeters for load monitoring. Allows for optimum stock removal and improved belt life.

Hour Meter: Helps keep track of regular maintenance intervals.

Safety: Emergency stop buttons on front and rear of the machine.  In addition the machine is equipped with an over height material gate which will shut down the machine if the material is too thick to prevent against damaging the machine.  In addition there is a safety bump bar on the infeed of the table.

SANDING HEADS:

1st Head: Steel Contact Drum: 10” diameter. 20 HP (14KW). Equipped with dial for micro adjustment according to various grit being used.

2^nd Head: Combination Head: 5 ½” diameter rubber drum & 2 5/8” wide platen, 15 HP (11KW).  Platen can be easily raised or lowered depending on whether you are calibrating or finish sanding. Equipped with dial for micro adjustment to the sanding drum according to various grit being used

QUICK RELEASE OUTBOARD SUPPORT FOR FAST BELT CHANGING
Quick release outboard support allows fast changing of sanding belts to accommodate a wide variety of grit segmentations. The easy release makes changing belts a breeze. A novice operator will find the process of changing the sanding belt an easy task to accomplish.

DISC BRAKES ON SANDING MOTOR

Robust disc brakes engage when heads are stopped or an emergency device is tripped.  Also allows for taster belt changeover times.

SOFT START

Sanding motors are equipped with wye-delta soft start to reduce power consumption on startup.
